Adult and Pediatric First Aid, CPR/AED Blended Learning or Review

Course Description: This course is for those who wish to become certified as a general first aider. Successful demonstration of all skills is required to obtain certification, which is valid for two years. Girl Scouts 16 years and older are welcome to participate. Financial scholarships are available for adults.

Each date listed below includes a Blended-Learning session and a Review session, held at the same time. Participants should register for one session or the other depending on their current certification status.

Register for the BLENDED-LEARNING session if: • Participant does not hold a current American Red Cross Adult and Pediatric First Aid, CPR/AED certification, or • Participant’s most recent certification is more than 30 days past expiration Register for the REVIEW session if: • Participant holds a current American Red Cross Adult and Pediatric First Aid, CPR/AED certification, or • Participant’s most recent certification is within 30 days past expiration Blended-Learning Session Details: The Blended-Learning session consists of a three-to-four-hour online learning portion and an in-person skills portion. The online portion is through the American Red Cross website and MUST be completed before attending the in-person skills portion. Course participants will receive additional details and a link to register for and complete the online portion via email approximately one week before the in-person skills portion. Review Session Details: The Review session consists of an in-person skills portion only (no online learning portion necessary). Course participants will receive additional details via email approximately one week before the in-person skills portion.
