Junior Climate Change Challenge April 22, 5:30-7:30 pm

Offered to: Junior Grades 4-5

The climate is changing, bringing extreme shifts to our environment. Girl Scouts can make a difference in slowing the climate changes and helping us all prepare for the effects. In this patch program, Juniors will learn about climate science and find out about the local Missouri impacts. We will talk about difference options that can fulfill the climate project portion of the patch.

Brownies can have fun without a computer, deck of cards, or even a ball. Games are everywhere when Girl Scouts use their imagination to make them up! Girl Scouts will learn and create fun games from solving a mystery to inventing their own sport, exercising their bodies and minds.

Ready to hit the trail? Hiking is a fun and healthy outdoor activity. Brownies will learn skills for taking different types of hikes, and then go on a hike!

World DNA Day for Juniors

Offered to: Junior Grades 4-5

Celebrate World DNA Day with Girl Scouts! Juniors will explore genetics, build a candy DNA model, and extract real DNA from strawberries. Through a blend of biology, observation, and imaginative modeling, Juniors will dive into the world of DNA, cells, and living things.

Join us for an epic celebration with our galactic STEM-adventure program! Girl Scout Juniors will build droids, create light sabers and explore space science through different space-themed games, crafts and activities. May the fourth be with you!

Fun with Movement May 6, 6-7:30 pm $10 per Girl Scout Max Girl Scouts: 20 Max Adults: 2 Reg. Opens: Jan. 13

Offered to: Daisy Grades K-1

Through this new Body Appreciation badge, Daisies begin the journey to body appreciation by exploring ways to have fun with movement. They get active with big movements (gross motor skills) like dancing and stretching. They will also learn how small movements (fine motor skills) let them do fun things like drawing or smelling a flower. Moving big or moving small, their body does it all.
