Navigating Conflict with Confidence (GSUSA)

Level: All

Course Description: In this interactive course, volunteers will learn to navigate challenging conversations to reach common ground with others (colleagues, volunteers, families, etc.) where emotions run high and positive outcomes are critical. The curriculum includes strategies to encourage a healthy mindset, recognize differences, and problem-solve so that volunteers can confidently confront and resolve conflict. This course consists of six modules ranging in length from 10 to 30 minutes (two hours total).

Representative Assembly Delegate Training

Level: All

Course Description: This course is offered to members elected to serve as Delegates or Alternate Delegates to the Representative Assembly at GSEM. In it, delegates will learn about the responsibilities, policies, and procedures related to this role, including parliamentary procedure.

Service Team: Recruitment Team Training MY26

Level: All

Course Description: This course is designed as a resource and refresher for Recruitment Team volunteers so they may review at their convenience how to plan, promote, and run Girl Scout recruitment events at schools or in assigned areas. It contains a previously-recorded training session and any digital materials and links discussed during that session. This review course may also benefit Recruitment Team volunteers who missed the summer training and volunteers who are considering taking on a Recruitment Team role in the future.

Service Unit Training—Developing and Growing the SU Team (GSUSA)

Level: All

Course Description: This course provides guidance to District or Neighborhood Managers on building a strong Service Team of dedicated volunteers who work together to support the success of their district or neighborhood.
