Day Camp Committee Training

Course Description: This roundtable-style course is required for all new and returning Day Camp Directors, Assistant Directors, Business Managers, and Assistant Business Managers. Participants will have the opportunity to share best practices, explore strategies for handling challenging situations, and gain insights into their own leadership style—as well as those of others. The course will also cover the core responsibilities of each role by reviewing key policies, procedures, and best practices related to managing Day Camp finances and administrative paperwork. Lunch is provided.

Delivering Inclusive Program (GSUSA)

Course Description: In this 20-minute online course, volunteers will learn the importance of, and practice using, inclusive and equitable language to support the identities of all Girl Scouts and foster a cohesive troop environment.

F.R.O.G.s (Friendly Resource Options Guide) Training

Level: All

Course Description: This course certifies volunteers to be Friendly Resource Options Guides (F.R.O.G.s) at the Anheuser-Busch Nature Center at Camp Tuckaho. Volunteers gain the knowledge they need to access and use exclusive supplies and activities that are unavailable to casual visitors at the Nature Center. Volunteers receive hands-on experience with a sampling of exciting nature activities they can do with their troop. Don’t miss it!
