Think Like an Engineer Journey - Seniors and Ambassadors Jan. 22 Start: 1 pm End: 5:30 pm
Offered to: Senior | Ambassador Grades 9-12 In this Journey, Seniors and Ambassadors will learn how engineers use design thinking to solve problems by completing three design thinking activities. Girls will design and build prototypes of a holder for a six-pack of soda that isn’t harmful to animals, a kinetic sculpture and an assistive device to help the elderly. A Senior or Ambassador Journey is a prerequisite to earning the Girl Scout Gold Award. Girl Scout Seniors and Ambassadors will earn their Think Like a Engineer Journey Award. Offered to: Brownie Grades 2-3 Make great snacks for yourself and your friends. When you eat them, they’ll give you the energy to think, hike, run, play – and do all the other activities you love to do! We’ll discuss nutrition and the importance of food for our bodies, create our own delicious treats, and enjoy them with friends. Join us for this badge program to set goals and make a business plan for a successful cookie selling season. Girl Scout Cadettes will earn their My Cookie Venture Badge. Girl Scout Seniors will earn Steps X of their My Cookie Network Badge and Girl Scout Ambassadors will earn Steps X of their My Cookie Business Resume Badge.
