When a group of people live together—in a town, city, state, or country—they follow rules. These rules and the people who make them are called the government. Learn about your government and how you can get involved through fun and interactive activities!

Offered to: Cadette Grades 6-8 Cadette Girl Scouts are constantly exposed to messages about how they look, think, and act. In this program, Cadettes will embark on a journey to examine the messages they receive, learn how to examine media with a critical eye, and how they can engage with media in a healthy way. A Cadette Journey is a prerequisite to earning the Girl Scout Silver Award. Girl Scout Cadettes will earn their MEdia Award.
