2025 Spring Older Girl Mini Guide
Senior and Ambassador, Grades 9-12 This workshop is for current 9th-12th grade Girl Scouts who are interested in beginning their Gold Award. This extended training provides time to meet the Gold Award Committee, Gold Award alum and time to brainstorm project ideas. Lunch is provided. Location: Berges Family Girl Scout Program Center, 63146 Cadette, Grades 6-8 Cadettes will learn how to write a computer program and share a positive message. Cadettes earn their Cadette Coding Basics Badge. Location: Berges Family Girl Scout Program Center, 63146 Cadette, Senior and Ambassador, Grades 6-12 Each February, Girl Scouts and Girl Guides across 150 countries celebrate World Thinking Day. This year’s theme is “Our Story,” the history of Girl Scouts around the world and all that we have accomplished, and how we can continue our amazing traditions today! We will delve into the past, present, and future of our organization both at home and around the world. Girl Scouts receive a World Thinking Day Patch. Location: Berges Family Girl Scout Program Center, 63146 Daisy-Ambassador, Grades K-12 The Women’s History Month fun patch program, in partnership with AAWU (St. Louis Branch), is designed to help Girl Scouts honor significant historical women, learn about important milestones in women’s social and legal progress and find inspiration in the many ways women continue to influence the world. Recordings will be shared with all participants following the program. Girl Scouts will receive supplies mailed to their house prior to the program. Program Topics: Robo-tastic Women, Women in the Outdoors, Art HERstory and Women in STEM. Girl Scouts receive a fun patch. Location: Virtual Cadette and Adult, Grades 6-8 This course is for Girl Scout Cadettes who are interested in pursuing the Girl Scout Silver Award. This training will allow participants to learn the steps necessary to complete their Silver Award project and how to submit their completion form. Location: Berges Family Girl Scout Program Center, 63146 Cadette, Grades 6-8 Making smart money choices now will set Cadettes up for success in the future. Cadettes will explore how to manage their spending habits and make smart money decisions. Cadettes earn their My Money Habits Badge. Location: Berges Family Girl Scout Program Center, 63146 Senior, Ambassador and Adult, Grades 9-12 This course is for Girl Scout Seniors and Ambassadors who are interested in pursuing the Girl Scout Gold Award. Girl Scouts going for the Gold Award are required to attend this training; they will learn the seven steps necessary to complete their Gold Award project and how to submit their proposal on GoGold.
