Grades 6-8

This program is for Girl Scout Cadettes who are interested in pursuing the Girl Scout Silver Award. This training will allow Girl Scouts and their adults to learn the steps necessary to complete their Silver Award project and how to submit their completion form.

Girl Scouts will visit the St. Louis Science Center’s eSports lab to learn all about game design. Plus, there will be friendly competition with a Mario Kart tournament. Lunch is included.

Extreme Adventures: Search and Rescue Overnight April 11-12 1 pm, Sat.-4 pm, Sun.

Offered to: Cadette | Senior | Ambassador Grades 6-12

On this extreme adventure, Girl Scouts will experience what it might be like to search for, rescue, and care for lost people or animals. Hear from professionals in the field about how we can be safe while exploring outdoor and extreme activities. This is a hands-on program; Girl Scouts will participate in several scenarios. Lunch and snacks are included.

Join us for an exciting day trip to visit the state capitol in Jefferson City. Participants will tour the historic capitol building, see how state legislature works, and immerse themselves in the history of the Show Me State. All Girl Scouts will complete multiple steps of the Democracy Badge for their program level, details regarding these steps will be provided in the confirmation. Troops participating with five or more Girl Scouts are required to provide two adults. All individual Girl Scouts must have a registered adult attend with them. All participants will arrive by bus transportation together, wearing special event shirts that will be provided along with a snack!

This program is an open discussion for Girl Scouts pursuing the Gold Award, the highest leadership award a Senior or Ambassador Girl Scout can earn. We will answer questions about requirements, ideas, proposals and components. We can also assist Girl Scouts creating their account on the GoGold website. Gold Award training is not a prerequisite but can be beneficial before attending the open discussion.

At this Titanic-themed sleepover, Girl Scouts will explore the true story of the world’s most famous ship through interactive activities, games, and historical role-play—all while having tons of fun with friends!
