Extreme Adventures: Scuba Diving Jan. 18, 2-5 pm

Offered to: Cadette | Senior | Ambassador Grades 6-12

*Note: All participants must get a waiver signed by their doctor to participate in this program. Reach out to us to view the waiver before signing up—otherwise we’ll send it after registration is completed. On this extreme adventure, Girl Scouts will learn how to scuba dive and complete Aqua-Missions (like underwater obstacle courses) inspired by PADI Seal Teams. This program will take place in a pool. Being a strong swimmer is helpful but not required, as all participants will take a swim test before participating.

Girl Scouts going for the Gold Award are required to attend this training; Girl Scouts and adults will learn the seven steps necessary to complete their Gold Award project and how to submit their proposal on GoGold.

Babysitting is a great way to build responsibility and caregiving skills (and earn some extra money!). Whether Girl Scouts are getting ready to start babysitting, or they’ve already begun, this badge will help them become the best babysitter they can be. We’ll cover how to start a babysitting business, professionalism, child development, and complete a first aid course including coverage of CPR skills (Cadettes will not be CPR Certified in this program). Participants will receive a certificate of completion for the course.

It’s time to get our brick on as we celebrate International LEGO ® Day! All Girl Scout Master Builders will receive LEGO ® and other supplies in the mail to design and build their very own LEGO ® flowers.
