2023 Girl Scout Impact Report

Sweet Success The 2023 Treats & Reads program surpassed all expectations with over $940,000 raised in support of Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri programs. This is the second year in a row that the council goal was surpassed. We also saw an increase in the number of girls and troops participating in the Treats & Reads program. “I enjoy participating in Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri’s Treats & Reads program because I earn funds for my troop do to exciting things,” said Emery, Girl Scout Brownie. Through the Girl Scout Cookie Program, the largest girl-led entrepreneurial program in the world, our girls collectively sold more than 2.2 million packages of cookies and generated more than $2.1 million in proceeds. 100 percent of proceeds remain local and are critical to fund our troops’ activities throughout the year.
