Emergency Medical Services (EMS): An emergency service dedicated to providing medical care or medical transport to patients with illnesses and injuries which prevent the patient from transporting themselves
Experts: Personnel required to be on hand to assist girls participating in many activities addressed by Safety Activity Checkpoints . Experts should have documented experience and/or training related to the activity
ET (Environmental Toilet): A building at camp that houses a composting toilet and hand-washing facility
Field Committee: An operational committee made up of the District Managers
First Aider: An adult who has certification from a nationally-recognized organization in first aid, child and adult CPR and the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
Gifts for Girls: An annual fundraising campaign asking families of Girl Scouts, volunteers and community members to make tax-deductible contributions to Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri to build girls of courage, confidence and character, who make the world a better place. Donations may be made any time throughout the year
