Summer 2024 Younger Girl Mini Guide

Daisy, Grades K-2 Join us at Camp Fiddlecreek for a day of adventure and classic camp fun! Daisies will experience classic camp activities like hiking, swimming, arts and crafts, and sing alongs. They will also earn their Daisy Safety Pin guided by older Girl Scouts. This is a great introduction to camp in just one day! Junior, Cadette, Senior and Ambassador, Grades 4-12 Explore the sport of archery—with an art twist! Girl Scouts will review archery basics while shooting at paint and tie-dye to create a unique archery art project. Girl Scouts will get to take their art home. Please dress appropriately —your clothes may get stained. Adults that sign up for the program will help fill balloons with paint/tie-dye and help with management of the art projects. Location: Forest Park Archery Range 63110 Daisy and Brownie, Grades 1-3 Girl Scouts are invited to make new friends and build a LEGO robot as they get a sneak peek at the FIRST LEGO League Explore robotics level. Girl Scouts will learn all the basics of LEGO robotics! Daisies and Brownies earn their Programming Robots Badge. Location: Berges Family Girl Scout Program Center 63146 Junior, Grades 4-5 This course is for Girl Scout Juniors who are interested in pursuing the Girl Scout Bronze Award. Parents, caregivers and troop leaders are welcome to attend as well. This training will allow girls to learn the steps necessary to complete their Bronze Award project and how to submit their proposal. Location: Virtual Brownie, Grades 2-3 Did you know that the president of the United States is only one part of the government? In this country, lots of people work together to decide what rules are made and how they are followed. All of these people make up our government. Come and learn about how our government works to run our country. Brownies earn their Democracy for Brownies Badge.
