Offered to: Grades 4-5 Working with students from the Washington University Society of Women Engineers (SWE) Chapter, Juniors will learn about simple machines and how they work together as they build their own heavy-lifting crane. Girls will test their creations, share the results and brainstorm ways to improve their designs. Girl Scout Juniors will earn their Mechanical Engineering: Crane Design Badge. Location: Virtual Grades K-1 If you love CandyLand, Monopoly or any other board games, this program is for you! Girls will create their very own board game, design and build a spinner to use in their game and test their games just like engineers and inventors do!
