Gold Award Candidate Training

Completing a Girl Scout Journey is a prerequisite to earning a Girl Scout Bronze, Silver or Gold Award. The Journeys let girls experience what they’ll do as they work to earn Girl Scouting’s highest awards— discover an issue they’re passionate about, connect with experts in their community, and take action to make the world a better place. The skills girls gain while working on Journeys will help them develop, plan and implement Take Action projects for their Bronze, Silver or Gold Award. This summer we are offering a plethora of Journey programs. Flip to pg. 18 for our complete list of programs and details on completing a Girl Scout Journey.

This course is for Girl Scout Seniors and Ambassadors interested in pursuing the Girl Scout Gold Award, the highest community service award a high-school-aged girl can earn. Currently the Gold Award Candidate Training is offered online. Training can be found at: girlscoutsem.org/highestawards . Girls can complete the training at any time.
