Troop Camp Blitz

Course Description: Troop volunteers and their Daisy through Junior Girl Scouts are invited to Troop Camp Blitz, an enriching weekend to explore the outdoors and make memories. This event is for adults with Girl Scouts as well as adults attending alone.

Daisies through Juniors attend their own fun-filled programming during the day while adults obtain troop camp certification. In the evening, they come together for quality time under the stars.

Adult participants must attend the three-hour in-town planning session and the at-camp learning experience in their entirety to receive troop camp certification. Scholarships are available.

Prerequisites: Troop Camping at GSEM online course and thoroughly reading the Troop Camp Information Packet (TCIP).

Troop Camping at GSEM

Level: All

Course Description: This is the prerequisite online course for troop camp certification. In it, volunteers will learn about GSEM’s beautiful camp properties and the basics of taking Girl Scout troops on a camping adventure. This course is intended to familiarize volunteers with the terms and procedures discussed in greater detail during in-person Troop Camp Certification courses.

Please read the Troop Camp Information Packet (TCIP) in its entirety before completing a Troop Camp Certification course.
