Slingshot Instructor Training

Course Description: Learn how to bring the fun of slingshots to Girl Scouts in this two-hour, in-person course. Because slingshot activities at GSEM camps use the same ranges and share the same setup and safety principles as archery, participants must have a current USA Archery Level 1 or Level 2 Instructor certification to take this course and lead a slingshot activity at our camps. This course is renewable every three years. Girl Scouts 16 years and older are welcome to participate. Scholarships are available.

Proof of current archery certification and current slingshot training must be shown to the camp supervisor when using the range and equipment for a slingshot activity.

Prerequisite: Current USA Archery Level 1 or Level 2 Instructor certification.
