Cooking for Crowds at Camp

Course Description: This in-person course is required for volunteers who wish to use dining hall kitchens at GSEM camps. A minimum of one adult per kitchen crew must have this certification. Participants will learn food safety principles, dining hall kitchen policies, and the operation and maintenance of kitchen facilities, equipment, and appliances through hands-on meal preparation. Scholarships are available.

Course Description: In this 25-minute course, volunteers explore best practices for handling and conserving archival objects and documents. Volunteers also learn to identify areas of their own archives or personal memorabilia that need attention and discover how to leverage their personal Girl Scout collections with our council.
