Spring 2025
Adult and Pediatric First Aid, CPR/AED Blended Learning Level: All
Certification Course
Course Description : This course is for those who wish to become certified as a general first aider. As a blended-learning course, a three-to-four-hour online learning portion through the American Red Cross must be completed before attending an in-person skills session. Successful demonstration of all skills is required to obtain certification, valid for two years. Girl Scouts 16 years and older are welcome to participate. Financial scholarships are available. Course participants receive a link to register for, access, and complete the online learning portion via email approximately one week before the in-person skills session. After registering for the online course on the American Red Cross website, participants will have 90 days to complete the online course. If it is not completed within 90 days, any progress within the course will be lost, and volunteers will have to retake the online course.
