Offered to: Brownie Grades 2-3 Be a sister to every Girl Scout! Girls will learn all about how they can help to create more inclusive spaces for people of all abilities through fun activities and positive conversations. They will learn what disabilities are, what inclusion means and how it applies to Girl Scout values, and how they can make a difference by treating people with respect. Girl Scout Brownies will earn their Disability Awareness Patch. Location: Berges Family Girl Scout Program Center, 2300 Ball Dr., St. Louis 63146 Offered to: Cadette | Senior | Ambassador Grades 6-12 Have a desire for deep diving? In Discover Scuba, girls will don scuba gear and, after mastering a few basic concepts and scuba skills, will get to explore the underwater world in the safe environment of a swimming pool with the supervision of Y-Kiki Divers instructors. Join us to feel the exhilaration of breathing underwater! Girl Scouts must get a medical waiver signed by their physician before signing up for this program. Location: Center of Clayton Indoor Pool, 50 Gay Ave, Clayton 63105 Grades 4-5 This course is for Girl Scout Juniors who are interested in pursuing the Girl Scout Bronze Award. Parents, caregivers and troop leaders are welcome to attend as well. This training will allow girls to learn the steps necessary to complete their Bronze Award project and how to submit their proposal. Location: Virtual Grades 6-8 This course is for Girl Scout Cadettes who are interested in pursuing the Girl Scout Silver Award. Parents, caregivers and troop leaders are welcome to attend as well. This training will allow girls to learn the steps necessary to complete their Silver Award project and how to submit their proposal. Location: Virtual Offered to: Junior Grades 4-5 Explore Lake Michigan and the sand dunes at Indiana Dunes National Park! During this exciting travel trip for Girl Scout Juniors, we will hang out at the beach, take a boat tour, and explore the area. Bus transportation and indoor accommodations are included. Girl Scouts are encouraged to attend on their own, but there are adult spaces available. Girl Scouts who are going into 4th grade in 2023 must have at least one overnight experience with Girl Scouts to attend this travel trip. Girl Scout Juniors will earn their Junior Trail Adventure and Animal Habitat Badges.
