Offered to: Brownie Grades 2-3 Climb to new heights with us at Climb So Ill, a rock climbing gym in St. Charles! Brownies will learn how to rock climb with an auto belay, which is climbing on an artificial wall with a harness and rope that takes up slack automatically as they climb. Girl Scouts will also participate in fun rock-related activities while not climbing. No prior rock climbing experience needed! Adults that sign up to participate will be able to climb, and we also request that they help spot the girls as they climb. Girl Scout Brownies will earn their Brownie Snow or Climbing Adventure Badge. Location: Climb So Ill at the Steel Shop; 650 N Main Center Suite 105, St Charles 63301 Grades 2-3 Brownies will look carefully at nature, track what they see, and create art inspired by natural objects to see that math is all around them! Girls will learn about counting, graphing, symmetry, and tessellations by observing insects, birds, and other natural objects at beautiful Tower Grove Park. At this program, you will have a chance to meet Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri robotics teams and learn what they accomplished this season! This is a wonderful opportunity for anyone interested in learning more about FIRST and SeaPerch Robotics and participation through Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri. Location: Berges Family Girl Scout Program Center, 2300 Ball Dr., St. Louis 63146 Grades 4-5 This course is for Girl Scout Juniors who are interested in pursuing the Girl Scout Bronze Award. Parents, caregivers and troop leaders are welcome to attend as well. This training will allow girls to learn the steps necessary to complete their Bronze Award project and how to submit their proposal. Location: Berges Family Girl Scout Program Center, 2300 Ball Dr., St. Louis 63146 Grades 6-8 This course is for Girl Scout Cadettes who are interested in pursuing the Girl Scout Silver Award. Parents, caregivers and troop leaders are welcome to attend as well. This training will allow girls to learn the steps necessary to complete their Silver Award project and how to submit their proposal.
