Offered to: Daisy | Brownie | Junior | Cadette | Senior | Ambassador Grades K-12 The Women’s History Month fun patch program is designed to help Girl Scouts honor significant historical women, learn about important milestones in women’s social and legal progress and find inspiration in the many ways women continue to influence the world. Girl Scouts will choose from a list of activities to explore, learn and celebrate Women’s History Month as they earn this fun patch. Virtual program topics will include: Women Entrepreneurs: Then and Now, Health, Wellness and Women’s History, the Art of Women’s History and Invent the Change: Women in STEM. Location: Virtual Offered to: Brownie Grades 2-3 During this virtual workshop, Girl Scouts will learn about 3D printing and get the opportunity to design and create their own 3D printed item! Girls will also learn about how 3D printing is used in space and learn about a female role model in STEM. Offered to: Cadette | Senior | Ambassador Grades 6-12 We already know that women are awesome! But what does it take to be an outdoor adventurer as a woman? Hear inspiring stories of other women doing amazing things in the outdoors, and also learn practical tips that will make all your outdoor adventures easier as a women (e.g. taking care of personal care items on the trail). Girl Scouts will earn a fun patch. Location: Virtual Grades K-1 During this Journey, Daisies will learn how scientists use the scientific method to investigate the world and make discoveries. Daisies will complete hands-on activities to learn how to make observations and collect data. Girl Scout Daisies will earn their Think Like a Citizen Scientist Journey Award. Location: Sophia M.
