In this new badge, Brownies will learn what it means to save, how to build a budget, and how to make the best budgeting decisions. Girl Scout Brownies will earn their Budget Builder Badge. Offered to: Junior | Cadette Grades 4-8 Celebrate the one-year anniversary of the Perseverance rover – the largest, most advanced rover NASA has sent to another world - landing on Mars! We will watch the Good Night Oppy documentary that tells the inspirational true story of Opportunity, a rover that was sent to Mars for a 90-day mission but ended up surviving for 15 years. Girls will also make their own edible Mars rover! Location : Berges Family Girl Scout Program Center, 2300 Ball Dr., St. Louis 63146 Grades 8-12 Join Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri for a fun day of learning about the Girl Scout Gold Award. You will have the opportunity to: participate in Gold Award training, meet the committee members who will mentor you through the program and spend time brainstorming and researching options for your project This workshop is for current high school Girl Scouts who are interested in beginning their Gold Award. All Girl Scouts are eligible to earn this prestigious award, regardless if they earned the Silver Award as a Cadette. Please note that this is an expanded version of the required Gold Award training, therefore, if your Girl Scout attends this workshop, they will not have to attend the training. Location: Girl Scout Service Center, 2300 Ball Dr., St. Louis 63146 Offered to: Senior Grades 9-10 A social innovator takes a social problem and develops a thoughtful solution. Girl Scout Seniors will explore social issues, brainstorm solutions, and practice pitching the idea. Girl Scout Seniors will earn their Social Innovator Badge.
