Offered to: Brownie Grades 2-3 This program is perfect for your Brownie creator! Girls will earn their Painting and Potter badges by learning all about the two mediums and creating their own amazing projects. Brownies will discover their own creative power, and investigate how artists throughout history have been inspired to create masterpieces. Girl Scout Brownies will earn their Painter and Potter Badges. Grades 4-5 Girl Scout Juniors will explore how programmers write computer programs to solve problems. Girls will do three computational-thinking activities and learn how programmers can use computers to help others. Girls will also begin learning the basics of coding by creating algorithms for a computer while using loops and conditionals to improve their algorithms. A Junior Journey is a prerequisite to earning the Girl Scout Bronze Award. Girl Scout Juniors will earn their Think Like a Programmer Journey Award and their Coding for Good 1: Coding Basics Badge. Offered to: Brownie Grades 2-3 Celebrate National Ice Day by learning about the science of ice cream. We’ll experiment with different methods of making ice cream and try to find out the best recipe!

Offered to: Senior | Ambassador Grades 9-12 Join us on an adventure to the Ozark National Scenic Riverways, the first national park area to protect a river system. Girls will camp overnight and spend the next day canoeing on the Current River. We will explore nearby trails and caves in addition to canoeing. Girls will learn paddling skills and how to be safe—and have fun—on the water. Girl Scout Seniors will earn their Adventurer Badge, Girl Scout Ambassadors will earn their Ultimate Recreation Challenge Badge. Location: Drop off and pick up will be at the Berges Family Girl Scout Center, 2300 Ball Dr., St. Louis, MO 63146 Grades 9-12 This course is for Girl Scout Seniors and Ambassadors interested in pursuing the Girl Scout Gold Award, the highest community service award a high school-aged girl can earn.
