Urban Archery June 8

Offered to: Brownie | Junior Grades 2-5 Archery is a fun activity at camp, but we are bringing archery closer to the city in our Urban Archery series! This program will introduce girls to the techniques of the sport. Brownies and Juniors are welcome to join this session, and we encourage all skill levels. Girl Scout Brownies and Juniors will earn an Archery fun patch.

Offered to: Junior Grades 4-5 This course is for Girl Scout Juniors who are interested in pursuing the Girl Scout Bronze Award. Parents, caregivers and troop leaders are welcome to attend as well. This training will allow girls to learn the steps necessary to complete their Bronze Award project and how to submit their proposal.

Offered to: Cadette Grades 6-8 This course is for Girl Scout Cadettes who are interested in pursuing the Girl Scout Silver Award. Parents, caregivers and troop leaders are welcome to attend as well. This training will allow girls to learn the steps necessary to complete their Silver Award project and how to submit their proposal.

Offered to: Junior | Cadette Grades 4-8 Join us as we head to Huntsville, Alabama to attend Space Camp! Girls will build a model rocket, train like an astronaut and work in mission control or launch as part of the flight crew on a simulated space mission. Drop off and pick up will be at the Berges Family Girl Scout Center, 2300 Ball Dr., St. Louis, MO 63146. This camp is Cookie Credit eligible. Grades 4-5 Hit the road with Girl Scouts! Join us for an exciting three-day, two-night adventure to the beautiful Mammoth Cave National Park in Kentucky. Girls will camp out in tents, explore scenic trails, and discover the wonders of the largest natural cave system in the world. We will be traveling to Mammoth Cave as a group via bus, which will depart from the Berges Family Girl Scout Program Center. Completion of a Junior Journey is a prerequisite for earning the Girl Scout Bronze Award. Girl Scout Juniors will earn their First Aid and Simple Meals Badges and complete their Outdoor Journey. Grades K-1 Spend a Sunday afternoon learning about the sun! We’ll work on scientific experiments and hands on activities to learn about the sun and its role in our solar system, and enjoy delicious ice cream sundaes to cool off. Girl Scout Daisies will earn their Space Science Explorer Badge.
