Offered to:

Grades 4-5

Girls learn about how engineers work to design and create vehicles. They will build and test their own paddleboat, understand buoyancy, and discover more about potential and kinetic energy. Girl Scout Juniors will earn their Paddle Boat Design Challenge Badge. All program supplies will be mailed directly to the girl’s household prior to the program.

Grades 6-8

Cadettes will try their hand at movie making by learning a few basics and creating their own masterpieces with the guidance of the experts at Microsoft. Girl Scout Cadettes will earn their Digital Movie Maker Badge. All program supplies will be mailed directly to the girl’s household prior to the program.

Offered to: Grades 9-12 During this important program, Girl Scout Seniors and Ambassadors will learn how women can lead healthy lives. Girls will learn about their unique health issues, find out how fads and beauty practices impact their health and will also explore their emotional health. Girl Scout Seniors will earn their Women’s Health badge. Girl Scout Seniors will earn their Women’s Health Badge. Girl Scout Ambassadors will receive a voucher for a future badge. All program supplies will be mailed directly to the girl’s household prior to the program.

Bodies and Minds April 22 Start: 6 pm End: 7:30 pm $10 per girl; includes program materials and badge Registration Deadline: April 8

Location: Virtual and Berges Family Girl Scout Program Center

Offered to: Grades 6-12 Cadettes, Seniors and Ambassadors will learn about data collection and observation and how citizen scientists help contribute to research around the world. Girls will learn about resources and projects to help them complete the Think Like a Citizen Scientist Journey. All levels will complete Parts 1 and 2 of the Think Like a Citizen Scientist Journey.
