Offered to: Grades 6-8 Have you ever wondered what plants and animals call Camp Tuckaho home? Join us as we survey and identify the living things that call camp home—including flowers, birds, reptiles, mammals and more! Girl Scouts will work in small teams with experts to record their findings and share their observations with researchers and scientists using iNaturalist as part of the City Nature Challenge. Girl Scout Cadettes will complete Part 3 of the Think Like a Citizen Scientist Journey.

Offered to: Grades 2-3 Explore the wonderful and fascinating world of bugs! Girl Scouts will learn about these important creatures and their homes through crafts, discussion and seeing live creatures! Girl Scout Brownies will earn their Bugs Badge. All program supplies will be mailed directly to the girl’s household prior to the program.

Bugs April 27 Start: 6 pm End: 7:30 pm $10 per girl; includes program materials and badge Registration Deadline: April 13

Location: Virtual and Berges Family Girl Scout Program Center

Offered to: Grades 4-5 Girl Scout Juniors will venture through the solar system and beyond! Girls will see that space is even bigger than they may have imagined by learning more about the solar system and Earth’s place in it. Girl Scout Juniors will earn their Space Science Investigator Badge. All program supplies will be mailed directly to the girl’s household prior to the program.
