Offered to: Grades 9-12 Do you have an invention, like a new smartphone application, or a business idea, like a useful website? Have you dreamed up a strategy for how a local business can improve sales? This program will help put those dreams into action. Learn how to get your foot in the door by writing cover letters and resumes. Learn tips and tricks to ace an interview. Girls will leave this program with the skills to start their own business or land their dream job. They will even learn how to negotiate that dream salary. Girl Scout Seniors will earn their Business Etiquette Badge. Girl Scout Ambassadors will complete Steps 3, 4 and 5 of their College Knowledge Badge. All program supplies will be mailed directly to the girl’s household prior to the program.

Location: Virtual and Berges Family Girl Scout Program Center

Offered to: Grades K-1 Knowing how to be safe and when to call for help is important to learn at a young age. Girl Scout Daisies talk to first responders and complete the steps to earn their Daisy Safety Award. To help strengthen the skills she learns, each girl receives a family take-home kit which includes a mini booklet so her family can create their own emergency plan, and a DIY First Aid kit. Girl Scout Daisies will earn their Safety Pin. All program supplies will be mailed directly to the girl’s household prior to the program.

Location: Virtual and Berges Family Girl Scout Program Center

Offered to: Grades 2-3 Brownies will begin to investigate the complexities of the sky as they learn to see things in a new way. We’ll meet our solar system neighbors, investigate the moon, sun and stars. Girl Scout Brownies will earn their Space Science Adventurer Badge. All program supplies will be mailed directly to the girl’s household prior to the program.

Location: Virtual and Berges Family Girl Scout Program Center

Offered to: Grades 4-5 Join the St. Louis Zoo to find out more about where animals live, how they play, and how humans can help them. Juniors will learn about wild animals, create an animal house and learn how to protect animal habitats and endangered animals. Girl Scout Juniors will earn their Animal Habitats Badge. All program supplies will be mailed directly to the girl’s household prior to the program.
