ADULT COURSES

ADULT AND PEDIATRIC FIRST AID/CPR/AED BLENDED LEARNING OPTION: ALL Certification: Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED certification is valid for two years. This course is for those who wish to obtain certification as a First Aider. Demonstration of skills is required for certification. In this course, participants become certified in Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED in a blended learning format where the participant must complete some coursework online prior to attending an in-person classroom session. A pediatric certification encompasses infant and child. The web-based course content will be sent to registered participants via email approximately two weeks before the in- person session. Course participants receive a link to register for, access and complete the online portion of the course. Course participants are required to provide verification of online course completion and bring it to the in-person session. The online pre-course work takes approximately three to four hours to complete.

Girls 16 years of age and older are welcome to attend. The course fee is due at registration and includes the American Red Cross certification and Participant Manual. Financial assistance is available.

Adult or Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED Ready Reference Skill Cards will be available for purchase during the course for $4 each or you may download them from redcross.org at no charge. The CPR keychain with face shield and gloves will be available for purchase during the course for $4.75 each.

ADULT AND CHILD FIRST AID/CPR/AED REVIEW: ALL Prerequisite: Current American Red Cross Adult and Child First Aid/CPR/AED certification

Certification: Adult and Child First Aid/CPR/AED certification is valid for two years. This course is for those who wish to renew their certification as a First Aider and their current American Red Cross certification has NOT expired. Demonstration of skills is required for certification.

Girls 16 years of age and older are welcome to attend. Course fee is due at registration and includes the American Red Cross Certification. Financial assistance is available.

Note: If your American Red Cross CPR certification has expired, you are not eligible to renew your certification by taking the Adult and Child First Aid/CPR/AED Review. If your certification has expired, you will need to take the course in its entirety.
