Offered to: Grades K-3 Did you know that Missouri is often called “The Cave State?" We’ll take a trip underground to check out one of Missouri’s most spectacular caves, Onondaga Cave, to view towering stalagmites and dripping stalactites. Then head back to the surface for a picnic lunch and to explore trails at Onondaga Cave State Park and Meramec State Park. We’ll explore different trails and different types of hikes, and how to prepare. Girl Scout Daisies earn their Daisy Trail Adventure Badge and Girl Scout Brownies earn their Brownie Trail Adventure Badge. Location: Berges Family Girl Scout Program Center, 2300 Ball Dr., St. Louis 63146 Grades K-5 Jump start the Think Like a Programmer Journey by learning how programmers use computational thinking to solve problems. We'll explore algorithms, variables and functions; and create a personal innovation to discover rapid prototyping. Girl Scout Daisies, Brownies and Juniors earn their Think Like a Programmer Journey Award and know how to Take Action when they leave.
