Offered to: Grades K-5 May the Fourth Be With You…Join us on May 4 for an out-of-this-world palooza! We will be thanking our lucky stars and be at war against the clock to fit in as much fun as possible. We will practice jedi techniques and enjoy a special themed craft and snack.

Offered to: Grades 4-8 This meeting of the Reach for the Stars Astronomy Club will focus on the red planet! Girls will learn about Mars and the continued exploration efforts, the future of Mars exploration and how they may play a part!

Offered to: Grades 2-3 With the help of the experts at Kakao Chocolate, we’ll learn about chocolate’s journey from cacao tree to the chocolate bar. Girls discover where chocolate comes from, how it’s made and what makes it so good; and good for you! And, of course, we’ll sample a selection of chocolates to complete our research. Offered to: Grades 2-5 Girl Scouts will have the opportunity to explore The Magic House MADE for Kids, the museum’s new satellite location in the City of St. Louis, and earn a mechanical engineering badge by completing a hands-on design challenge. Girls can paint on a digital easel, sculpt a clay creation, make a design for a 3D printer or laser cutter, build robots and circuits, launch a rocket and more! Girl Scout Brownies earn their Leap Bot Design Challenge Badge and Girl Scout Juniors earn their Balloon Car Design Challenge Badge.
