Offered to: Grades 6-12 Becoming a steward of the environment means caring for natural resources, like water, land and wildlife. Spend the afternoon with other older Girl Scouts at Washington State Park and learn how to become an environmental steward and advocate for nature through hiking and other hands-on activities. Girls will leave with an understanding how they can advocate for the environment and the ability to share that knowledge with others. Girl Scout Cadettes earn their Eco Trekker Badge, Girl Scout Seniors earn their Eco Explorer Offered to: Grades K-1 Girl Scout Daisies will learn all about Sunny the Sunflower and why it is important to be friendly and helpful. After we read Sunny’s story together and make personal murals, girls will brainstorm ways that they are going to be philanthropic in their homes, communities and schools. Girl Scout Daisies complete the Sunny Petal. Location: Berges Family Girl Scout Program Center, 2300 Ball Dr., St. Louis 63146 Grades K-5 Stop and smell the roses and petunias! Join us to learn about different flowers and pollinators, create floral crafts and plant a flower to take home. Grades 6-8 Girls have the opportunity to meet other Cadettes from the region and participate in DIY projects, cooking challenges or team-building games. Come to just one or plan to attend them all! This session of the Cadette Club will spread empowering messages through paint and other chosen art mediums. Girl Scout Cadettes complete Steps 2 and 5 of their Outdoor Art Apprentice Badge.
