Offered to: Grades 4-5 Juniors will have the opportunity to travel from "The Gateway to the West" to "The Gateway to the South" with their sister Girl Scouts. The weekend will be jam-packed with the best of what Louisville has to offer. Some of the trip highlights include tours of the Louisville Slugger Factory and the Kentucky Derby Museum and race track. Leaders are responsible for securing adult-to-girl ratios per Safety Activity Checkpoints . The fee includes transportation, KOA overnight accommodations, meals, all tour fees, event patch and program T-shirt.

Offered to: Grades 2-5 Girl Scouts will spend the day learning about engineering and robotics while earning two STEM badges! Girls learn about the engineering design process and apply it to building a car, then learn the basics of robots and begin programming their own robot. Girl Scout Brownies earn their Race Car Design Challenge Badge and their Programming Robots Badge. Girl Scout Juniors earn their Balloon Car Design Challenge Badge and their Programming Robots Badge. Location: Berges Family Girl Scout Program Center, 2300 Ball Dr., St. Louis 63146 Grades K-3 Being a steward of the environment means caring for our natural resources, like water, land and wildlife. Spend the morning at Washington State Park and learn how to become an environmental steward by treating outdoor spaces with kindness and respect. Girl Scout Daisies earn their Eco Learner Badge and Girl Scout Brownies earn their Eco Friend Badge. Location: Washington State Park, 13041 State Highway 104, De Soto 63020 , Adults Grades 6-12 Girls will learn about organic farming and how it directly impacts the Good Food Movement. There’s nothing more fulfilling than a morning spent helping others. Girls may help with farm and garden work, office cleaning or data entry. Girl Scout Cadettes complete Step 2 of their Eating for Beauty Badge. Location: EarthDance Farms, 233 S. Dade Ave., Ferguson 63135 Grades 2-3 It is a small world after all! This Journey Saturday is designed especially for Girl Scout Brownies and we are focusing on It’s Your Story – Tell It! This will help guide girls to appreciate differences within each other’s cultures while completing most of the Journey. Girl Scout Brownies complete the Discover and Connect portions of the Journey and will know how to Take Action when they leave.
