Offered to: Grades 6-8 Girls will have the opportunity to meet other Cadettes from the region and participate in DIY projects, cooking challenges or team-building games. Come to one or plan to attend them all! This Cadette Club will include spring activities like flower painting and go-green initiatives. Girl Scout Cadettes complete Step 2 of their Outdoor Art Apprentice Badge. Location: Berges Family Girl Scout Program Center, 2300 Ball Dr., St. Louis 63146 Grades 6-8 Enjoy a wild weekend at Shaw Nature Reserve! This unforgettable overnight experience comes complete with a warm campfire and s’mores, an adventurous night hike around the wetlands, star gazing and much more. Girl Scouts will stay in the Dana Brown Overnight Center’s cozy and historic lodges, complete with bunk beds, heating and air conditioning! Girl Scouts will receive a one-of-a-kind souvenir patch for participating, too. Adults are not required to attend. If an adult is interested in attending with their troop, please allow only one adult per troop. Girl Scout Cadettes complete Steps 1, 2, 4 and 5 of their Night Owl Badge. Learn St. Patrick's Day traditions from around the world and feast upon delicious Irish food. Location: Berges Family Girl Scout Program Center, 2300 Ball Dr., St. Louis 63146 Grades 9-12 Get ready for the ultimate cupcake showdown! Based on the popular Food Network show, Cupcake Wars , girls compete in teams to see who can create the most delicious cupcake and unique design for the judges. Which team will be crowned the Cupcake Champion? Location: Berges Family Girl Scout Program Center, 2300 Ball Dr., St. Louis 63146 Grades 4-8 Join the University of Missouri-St. Louis Astronomy Department for a planetarium show to learn about the stars and constellations. During this show, we will look at the night sky as seen from St. Louis, and explore black holes, solar super storms and more! Girl Scout Juniors complete Steps 3 and 5 of their Space Science Investigator Badge. Location: Research Building, University of Missouri-St. Louis, 1 University Blvd., St. Louis 63121 Grades 4-5 Dress up in your favorite kooky costume and let’s make a deal! This program will be just like the game show, minus the vacation prizes! Girls have to choose if they would like to make a deal and get a prize or risk a ZONK!
