Spring 2020 Inspire Discovery

Let's Get Registered! Online registration is available for all Girl Scout programs. Vis it girlscoutsem.org and click Program/Camp registration. Those registering for the first time will need to contact the Answer Center, 314.400.4600, to create an account. Once logged in, search by clicking on the Activities tab at the top of the page. To register for the selected program, click Register Now at the bottom of the page. To register by paper, submit one Individual Activity Application (IAA) per girl. When registering as a troop, mail one IAA for each girl and payment together in one envelope. For further information on registration and activity scholarships, see pgs. 64-65.

Use this key to determine if a program or opportunity is suitable for your Girl Scout!

= Daisy (Grades K-1)

= Cadette (Grades 6-8)

= Brownie (Grades 2-3)

= Senior (Grades 9-10)

= Junior (Grades 4-5)

The badge icon indicates girls complete badge work by attending the program.

The focus area icon indicates if the program has a strong influence in either STEM, Money Management or Health.

This icon indicates which Girl Scout grade levels can attend the program.

 Brownie Safety

Offered to: Grades 2-3 Girls experience the Safety House, giving them the opportunity to learn how to extinguish various types of kitchen fires, plan for weather situations, understand the proper way to escape from a room during a fire and the discover the tools used by firefighters. To help Girl Scouts strengthen the skills she learns about safety and first aid, each girl receives a family take-home kit which will include a mini booklet so her family can create their own emergency plan and also a DIY First Aid kit to keep on hand. The Min./Max. numbers indicate how many girls are required to participate for the program to occur.
