TRAVEL LET'S GO EXPLORING! Girl Scouts love to travel–from the field trips they take as Daisies and Brownies to the global adventures they can experience as teens! Our organization is the perfect place for girls to explore different places and cultures. Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri's progressive travel program helps girls prepare for their future independence, travel the world and make a global impact.

Trail Explorer Day Trip May 29, 8 am-4:30 pm $35 per girl or adult Onondaga State Park, MO Did you know that Missouri is often called “The Cave State?" We’ll take a trip underground to check out one of Missouri’s most spectacular caves, Onondaga Cave, to view towering stalagmites and dripping stalactites. Then head back to the surface for a picnic lunch and to explore trails at Onondaga Cave State Park and Meramec State Park. Turn to pg. 48 for more details. Mighty Mississippi Overnight Adventure June 5-6 $175 per girl or adult from St. Louis or $150 per girl or adult from Hannibal Dubuque, IA Join us as we take a road trip up the Mississippi River to Dubuque, Iowa! Along the way, we’ll make stops at Burlington and the Quad Cities. During an overnight stay at the National Mississippi River Museum & Aquarium, we’ll explore the history, culture, animals and conservation found along the Mighty Mississippi. Additional stops will include the Field of Dreams movie site and cave exploration at Maquoketa Caves State Park. Turn to pg. 49 for all the exciting details.

2020 Council-Led Trips

Girl Scout Junior Road Trip to Louisville April 3-5 $325 per girl or adult Louisville, KY

Juniors will have the opportunity to travel to "The Gateway to the South" with their sister Girl Scouts. The weekend will be jam-packed with the best of what Louisville has to offer. Some of the trip highlights include tours of the Louisville Slugger Factory and the Kentucky Derby Museum and race track. Turn to pg. 42 for all the fun details.

Kansas City Roller Trip  May 1-3 $375 per girl

Kansas City, MO

Our brand-new Kansas City Roller Trip is the perfect way to combine travel and STEM! At the Worlds of Fun amusement park, girls will learn about the science behind designing and engineering the loops and drops that roller coasters are famous for. Then, they will get to enjoy the rides at the park! Turn to pg. 45 and learn more.

Jetting to Jefferson City June 18, 9 am-5 pm $35 per girl

It is the perfect time for Girl Scout Daisies to learn about our state government and visit the beautiful Capital building! Upon arriving in Jefferson City, girls will be captivated by the many historic buildings and state landmarks. Check out pg. 50 for more information.
