Spring 2020 Inspire Discovery

SPRING EQUESTRIAN PROGRAMS Enjoy a unique horseback riding experience at Camp Cedarledge. Located in Pevely, Mo, approximately 45 minutes from the Girl Scout Service Center, our equestrian program is run by experienced wranglers who help girls of all levels discover the joy of horses. All programs have a 15-person limit. Troops who exceed the 15-person limit can choose two time slots or contact the Answer Center for assistance in scheduling a program. Adults are welcome to register and ride, but are not required to as wranglers secure ratios on the trail ride (except Pony Tales).

Offered to: • Wrangler-led horseback ride helps girls gain confidence • Exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of the Equestrian Center • Learn how to groom a horse Offered to: • 45-minute trail ride where girls grow in independence • Learn the value of good horsemanship Offered to: • 75-minute trail ride where girls grow in independence • Learn the value of good horsemanship Offered to: • 45-minute trail ride helping girls become more self-reliant • Completion of the special Camp Cedarledge Saddle Scout Patch Program Offered to: • 45-minute trail ride empowering girls to be better riders • Simple meal cooked for troop over campfire with s’mores for dessert

Troop Ride and Cookout Length: 2.5 hrs. Dates: April 25 May 2, 9, 16 Times: 3:30-6 pm, 4:30-7 pm Cost: $40 per rider, $7 per non-rider who will participate in cookout
