Spring 2020 Inspire Discovery

WHAT'S NEXT FOR EASTERN MISSOURI COOKIE BOSSES? The first phase of our Cookie Program is done and orders have been submitted, hooray! However, there are many customers still looking for cookies who know they are only available for a limited time each year. With five more weeks remaining in our Cookie season, here are the ways cookie bosses can reach their goals:

Goal Getter forms to take cookie orders from customers Jan. 27-March 8; these forms were provided with the troop’s cookie materials, or can be printed from girlscoutsem.org/cookies .

Troop cookie booths Feb. 14-March 8 will connect eager customers who don’t know a local Girl Scout with their favorite cookies. Girls can hand out adorable Girl Scout Cookie-inspired Valentine’s to customers on Feb. 14; they are available at girlscoutsem.org/cookies .

Neighborhood walkabouts Feb. 17-March 8 where Girl Scouts and an adult go door-to-door with cookies in a wagon.

Digital Cookie provides customers near and far with the convenience of ordering cookies online. Did you know that girls who used Digital Cookie in addition to the order card had average package sales of 188, compared to 116 packages by girls who did not sell online? Check out the three Digital Cookie rewards girls can earn:

Cookie Techie Patch 15+ emails sent

Samoas Keyring 75+ pkgs sold with Digital Cookie

Cookie Scrunchie and Butterfly Metal Charm 100+ pkgs sold with Digital Cookie

Through March 1, online customers can request their order be delivered by a Girl Scout rather than shipped. Customers purchasing cookies as gifts can choose to have them shipped in a special gift box or tin with a message. Online orders for shipping and donation continue through March 8.

CREDIT AND DEBIT PAYMENTS WITH CLOVER

We are excited for all individual Girl Scouts and troops to use the free, secure Clover Go app on their mobile device to accept credit and debit card payments for cookies. This can be during cookie deliveries, as well as through workplace, booth and walkabout sales. There are many benefits—less cash handling, more convenience and more cookies are sold when customers pay with their credit or debit card. WOW!

Ask your Girl Scout's troop leader about using Clover this year and see instructions on the Cookies page at girlscoutsem.org .
