PARKING AT THE COUNCIL Employee parking at the Girl Scout Service Center is available both in front and behind our building. REIMBURSABLE EXPENSES

The Council will reimburse employees for reasonable business travel expenses incurred while conducting business away from the normal work location. All overnight travel or travel outside of the Council’s jurisdiction must be approved in advance by the authorized manager. Abuse of this policy, including falsifying expense reports to inflate costs or to reflect costs not incurred by the employee, may constitute grounds for disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment. SAFETY AND EMERGENCIES Each employee is expected to obey safety rules and to exercise caution in all work activities. Employees must immediately report any unsafe condition to their immediate manager, Office Services Manager or Facilities Coordinator. Employees who violate safety standards, cause hazardous or dangerous situations, or fail to report and, where appropriate, remedy such situations are subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination. SECURITY A security guard is scheduled from 4:45-10 pm, Monday through Thursday and on Saturdays when the Girl Scout Shop is open. The guard is available to escort you to your car in the evening. SMOKE-FREE ENVIRONMENT The Council is a completely smoke-free facility. Smoking is permitted only outside the building(s) in designated smoking areas.
