New Leader Onboarding: The Girl Scout Leadership Experience (GSUSA)

Course Description: What sets Girl Scouts apart from other organizations? The framework we use to grow future leaders, also known as The Girl Scout Leadership Experience. In this course, leaders will learn how to facilitate the Girl Scout Leadership Experience with their troop in an age-appropriate way. They can apply the framework through the Girl Scout Program as their troop ages.

Course Description: This course equips leaders with the fundamentals to keep their troop safe during meetings and field trips. They will also learn about a “go-to” guide that helps their troop stay safe no matter where their adventures take them!

New Leader Onboarding: Your First Troop Meeting (GSUSA)

Course Description: This 20-30 minute course provides new troop leaders with the structure and tools to plan a successful first troop meeting (and beyond) with their Girl Scouts.

Field Trips and Travel (GSUSA)
Level: All
Course Description: Girl Scouts love getting out of the meeting space and exploring the world around them. This course provides guidance, recommendations, and tips for planning a Girl Scout trip. It also covers the Girl Scout Travel Progression to understand where to start with travel and how and when to progress. Whether Girl Scouts want to plan a day trip or an international adventure, this course is the place to start, especially before registering for the Troop Trips course or submitting a Troop Trips Application.
