Troop Camping at GSEM

Level: All

Course Description: This is the prerequisite online course for troop camp certification. In it, volunteers will learn about the beauty of our camp properties at GSEM and all the basics for taking Girl Scout troops on a camping adventure. This course is intended to familiarize learners with the terms and procedures discussed in greater detail in the Troop Camp Information Packet (TCIP) and when completing troop camp certification courses.

Please read the TCIP in its entirety before completing an in-person Troop Camp Certification course.

Troop Camp Blitz

Level: All

Course Description: Daisy-Junior Girl Scouts, leaders, and troop volunteers are invited to Troop Camp Blitz, an enriching weekend to explore the outdoors and make memories. This event is for adults with Girl Scouts as well as adults attending alone. Girl Scouts Daisy through Junior will attend their own fun-filled programming while adults become troop camp-certified. There will be an adult in-town training session at the Girl Scout Service Center. Adult participants must attend both in-town and at-camp sessions to receive troop camp certification.

Prerequisites: Troop Camping at GSEM online course and thoroughly reading the Troop Camp Information Packet (TCIP).
