The Mental Wellness Patch Program: Why It Matters and How to Implement It (GSUSA) Level: Junior-Ambassador
Course Description: Welcome to the Mental Wellness Patch Program. GSUSA has made a commitment to support mental wellness for every Girl Scout. In this 20-minute course, volunteers will learn best practices for holding a Mental Wellness Patch Program to give their Girl Scouts the tools and support they need to better understand and care for their mental health. The Mental Wellness Patch Program is program level-specific, designed for Juniors, Cadettes, Seniors and Ambassadors. It is highly recommended that volunteers complete the Mental Wellness 101 (GSUSA) and Delivering Inclusive Program (GSUSA) courses before starting this one. Doing both offers volunteers a chance to get the most out of the Mental Wellness Patch Program and helps them learn how to promote a healthy environment where Girl Scouts can thrive and grow.
