Girl Scout Astronomy Club Training Learning Path (GSUSA)

Level: All

Learning Path Description: This learning path will give high school-aged Girl Scouts, amateur astronomers, and Girl Scout volunteers a solid foundation to plan and manage an astronomy club. Discover how to build a development plan and curriculum and lead activities for Girl Scouts of all ages, and learn best practices in several important areas like outreach and running meetings and events. The entire learning path of three courses takes two hours to complete.

Program Description: Interested in pursuing a Highest Award but not sure how to get started? Join us for a night to learn about the Highest Awards—Bronze, Silver and Gold! Girl Scouts in grades 4-12, caregivers and leaders are welcome to attend this discussion group to hear general information about the awards and the requirements to earn, meet other Girl Scouts pursuing awards, and have an opportunity to ask questions and discuss ideas.
