Troop Camp Blitz
Certification Course
Level: Daisy-Junior
Course Description : Behind every successful and fun troop camp outing is an adult who is well-versed in how to make the experience memorable. Girls, leaders and troop volunteers are invited to come to Troop Camp Blitz, an enriching weekend where they can explore the outdoors, practice leadership, have fun and make memories. This event is for adults with girls as well as adults attending alone. Girls must be registered as Girl Scout Daisy through Junior. There will be an in-town training session at the Girl Scout Service Center. Adult participants must attend both the in-town training session and the at-camp training session in their entirety to receive troop camp certification.
Prerequisite : Troop Camping at GSEM online course (in gsLearn) and thoroughly reading the Troop Camp Information Packet (TCIP).
Course Registration : Register for this course by opening the course in gsLearn, selecting Start This Course, and following the direct link to gsEvents for the desired date, or by searching in gsEvents.

Troop Camp Fast Track
Certification Course
Level: All
Course Description : Troop Camp Fast Track is designed for adult volunteers who have basic camping skills and are experienced in accompanying girls to camp at one of our properties. It offers much of the same information covered in Troop Camp A-Z, but at a much faster pace. Note: The vast majority of adult volunteers should complete Troop Camp A-Z or Troop Camp Blitz to achieve their troop camp certification. Troop Camp Fast Track is only intended for the small subset of volunteers who are experienced with camping at one of our GSEM camps. Prerequisite : Prior camping experience at one of our properties, Troop Camping at GSEM online course and thoroughly reading the Troop Camp Information Packet (TCIP). Prior troop camping experience will be evaluated by the instructor(s) before registrants are accepted for this course.
