Troop Camping at GSEM

Course Description : This is the prerequisite course for troop camp certification. In it you will learn about the beauty of our camp properties at GSEM, and all the basics for how to take Girl Scout troops on a camping adventure. This course is intended to familiarize learners with the terms and procedures that will be discussed in greater detail in the Troop Camp Information Packet (TCIP) and when completing any of the troop camp certification courses.

Please read the TCIP in its entirety before completing any in-person troop camp certification course.

Course Description : Enjoy an exhilarating two days at one of our beautiful camps as you become troop camp certified. Participants must attend the three-hour in-town session to prepare for the at-camp learning experience. Participants must attend both the in-town training session and the at-camp training session in their entirety to receive troop camp certification.

Prerequisite : Troop Camping at GSEM online course and thoroughly reading the Troop Camp Information Packet (TCIP).
