Offered to: Brownies | Juniors | Cadettes Grades 2-8 Guided by Kappa Deltas at St. Louis University, Brownies, Juniors and Cadettes will work on their Think Like an Engineer Journey find out how engineers use design thinking to solve problems. They will work together to complete three design thinking activities specialized for their level. Girls will need to complete the Take Action Project on their own after the program. A Junior Journey is a prerequisite to earning the Girl Scout Bronze Award and a Cadette Journey is a prerequisite to earning the Girl Scout Silver Award. Girl Scout Brownies, Juniors and Cadettes will earn their Think Like a Engineer Journey Award. Location: St. Louis University, 1 N. Grand Blvd., St. Louis 63103 Offered to: Junior Grades 4-5 Juniors will gain an understanding of just how limitless their potential can be as they combine storytelling with the many roles – real and creative – that the world has to offer. Girls will have fun trying on roles and learning about people and the power of real-life action and leadership. A Junior Journey is a prerequisite to earning the Girl Scout Bronze Award. Girl Scout Juniors will earn their Amuse Journey Award and must complete their Take Action Project independently. Location: Virtual Offered to: Cadette Grades 6-8 Culinary possibilities are as diverse as the globe of people who cook them. Wherever you go in the world, a version of pocket bread holds something delicious and your sweet tooth can be satisfied with everything from date syrup to lingonberry jam. Come and cook up dishes from across the world and find out where your taste buds want to travel! Girl Scout Cadettes will earn their New Cuisines Badge. Brownies will create a simple budget and explore spending, saving, and sharing.
