Offered to: Grades 2-3 Do your toes start to tap when you hear a great song? Get ready to jump and move to the beat in this program. You’ll learn fun warm-ups, perform steps from awesome dances, and make up a dance of your very own! Girl Scout Brownies will earn their Dancer Badge. Location: Berges Family Girl Scout Program Center, 2300 Ball Dr., St. Louis 63146 Grades 4-5 Creating a bright bouquet of fresh flowers, making a dish with garden fresh herbs, growing a little green cheer inside with houseplants—these are all things a gardener gets to do. Dig your hands into the earth and spend time with soil, water and sunlight to find out how to help life grow from a tiny seed. Girl Scout Cadettes will earn their Gardener Badge. Location: Berges Family Girl Scout Program Center, 2300 Ball Dr., St. Louis 63146 Grades 6-12 Are you interested in learning about what engineers do and how they make the world a better place? This series of fun meetings will explore different types of engineering and careers in the engineering field with the guidance of engineers from the Society of Women Engineers (SWE). In this program, Daisies will explore the world of robotics and engineering. They will plan and build a prototype of a robot that solves an everyday problem. Girl Scout Daisies will earn their Designing Robots Badge. Location: Berges Family Girl Scout Program Center, 2300 Ball Dr., St. Louis 63146 Grades K-1 Daisies will learn about engineering and motion by building and testing their own roller coaster! Girls will build cars and test how their design affects its speed on the roller coaster track. Girl Scout Daisies will earn their Mechanical Engineering: Roller Coaster Badge.
