Offered to: Grades 6-8 In this program, you are the test subject and your life is your laboratory. You’ll find out how scientists measure happiness, and you’ll put their results into action. You’ll also get to perform a happiness experiment on your friends or family—all with the goal of making the world a happier place.

Girl Scout Cadettes will earn their Science of Happiness Badge which is part of the Becoming Me Patch Program.

Offered to: Grades 6-12, Adults What is Winter GAM? It’s a gathering for girls who like water sports, such as swimming, canoeing or sailing. Winter GAM is hosted by the Girl Scout Mariners who welcome other girls and Mariners alike to spend a fun weekend at camp. The event includes games, water sport instruction, learning sea shanties and more fun! Participants do not get in the water during this winter event. What are Mariners? Girl Scout Mariners are girls in grades 7-12 and adult volunteers who enjoy water activities. They are part of “Ships” who get together during the year for fun, friendship and activities. The capstone Mariner event is Summer GAM, which is a week-long resident camp just for Mariners. Girls and adults interested in joining the Mariner program are encouraged to attend Winter GAM. Offered to: Grades 6-12 Are you interested in learning more about the Universe and our place in it? Join the GSEM Astronomy Club to learn more about the solar system, the stars and everything astronomy! Each month will feature discussions, guest speakers and more! Location: Virtual

Offered to: Grades 4-5 When you pick up your pencil, anything could leap from your mind onto a sheet of paper. That’s what makes drawing so fun. In this program, you’ll find techniques to make your drawings eve better—which will make it more fun to see what your imagination can do. Girl Scout Juniors will earn their Drawing Badge.
