Gain skills to keep yourself happy and healthy—so you can always be your best self! Girl Scout Brownies will earn their My Best Self Badge. Location: Berges Family Girl Scout Program Center, 2300 Ball Dr., St. Louis 63146 Offered to: Adults Join us to learn about the LEGO Robotics Programs offered by Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri and how participation can benefit and inspire your girl. There are opportunities for Daisies through Ambassadors (K-12) to get involved with robotics and gain confidence in their abilities to positively use technology. All GSEM robotics teams participate in the FIRST® (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) Robotics Leagues. FIRST® aims to inspire girls to become science and technology leaders. This informational session will overview the GSEM Robotics Program, FIRST® Robotics, and what to do next if you or your girl are interested in becoming a member of the robotics program. Offered to: Grades 4-5 Outdoor adventures are exciting and unpredictable. At every turn you may see or experience something new! In this program, girls will choose an adventure and set out with their fellow Girl Scouts on an afternoon of exploration. Girl Scout Juniors will earn their Trail Adventurer Badge. This badge is part of the Becoming Me Patch program, see our Live from Girl Scouts schedule on pgs. 14 and 15 to complete all three badges! This series of fun meetings will explore different types of engineering and careers in the engineering field with the guidance of engineers from the Society of Women Engineers (SWE). Offered to: Grades K-1 Have you ever wondered howWALL-E, robot vacuums, or BB8 move to do their jobs? In this program Daisies will learn about the various parts of robots and how they move. Then they will design their very own robots, focusing on how they will move to complete tasks. Girl Scout Daisies will earn their How Robots Move Badge.
