This two-week session prepares campers for the rigors and rewards of becoming a camp counselor in the future. CIT’s make a difference in campers’ lives while helping them navigate their Overnight Camp experience. CIT’s plan and implement activities and have the opportunity to lead a cookout and all-camp evening program. Swim time, cookouts, unit activities, and campfires complete the camp experience. This two-week program is broken up into two parts. The first week of camp will be filled with team-building challenges, such as low and high ropes, that strengthen leadership, problem-solving, public speaking, and organization skills. The second week of camp tests those skills by shadowing a counselor, gaining confidence by leading activities, and running campfire. Complete the camp experience with swim time, cookouts, unit activities, and more. Lifeguard-In-Training Trefoil Rewards Discount Eligible July 26-31 Cedarledge, 63070 Must be at least 15 years old at the time of camp Cost: $550 through March 31, $585 starting April 1 and $625 starting May 1 Lifeguard in Training is a great first step towards a job as a lifeguard. This camp teaches the fundamentals of lifeguarding and will focus on safety awareness and skill development that will enhance the future of each camper while having fun! Campers focus on five key areas: prevention of aquatic accidents, fitness and swimming skills, response in an emergency, leadership skills, and professionalism. Campers will participate in traditional camp activities while completing their Red Cross lifeguard certification. Prerequisite: Must be 15 years old prior to first day of camp. Must be able to tread water for 2 minutes while keeping their head above water and swim a minimum of 200 yards in one direction without stopping. NEW NEW

Senior/Ambassador Volunteering-In Programs (VIP) ☙ ☙ July 13-16 Fiddlecreek, 63055 Grades 8-12 for the 2025-2026 school year Cost: $225

Volunteering in Programs (VIP) training is designed to help Seniors and Ambassadors discover their talents in mentoring and leading younger girls. They will gain the confidence, knowledge and expertise needed to guide Girl Scouts, and prepares them to hold future leadership positions within and outside of Girl Scouting. Our older Girl Scouts will help create and run three Day Programs at Fiddlecreek for Juniors, Brownies, and Daisies. Then, they’ll have their own fun at camp in the evenings when the younger kids go home before sleeping over in the comfort of Myrtle’s Manor. We will have a required virtual pre-meeting on June 19, 7:15-8:15 pm. Seniors and Ambassadors earn their Volunteer in Training Award.
