2026-2027 Inspire Discovery
NATIONAL COUNCIL SESSION One Movement. Many Voices. One Unforgettable Experience. This past July, five Girl Scouts, along with board members, volunteers and staff, represented Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri at the 2026 National Council Session (NCS) in Washington, D.C. Together, they joined Girl Scouts from across the country to help shape the future of the Movement, raise their voices, and champion the next generation of leaders.
Since 1915, the National Council Session, Girl Scouts triennial business meeting, has been held in many cities across the nation to discuss, debate and vote on issues important to the Girl Scout Movement. At the 58th National Council Session, nearly 1,000 Girl Scout delegates traveled to Washington, D.C. to make history. Following NCS, the excitement continued during the Girl Scout Unite event. The event featured an exciting lineup of speakers, performers, workshops and sessions reflecting the confidence, creativity and resilience at the heart of Girl Scouting. The event also included major celebrations such as the National Bridging Ceremony, the Gold Award Celebration, community building moments, and opportunities for Girl Scouts to meet and connect with inspirational leaders who are taking action in their communities.
There’s nothing more powerful than Girl Scouts coming together!
